A Day Devoted to Supporting our Local Non-Profits
Brazos Valley Gives is 18-hours of on-line giving that brings the region together on one day and as “one community” to raise critical funding and awareness for nonprofit organizations throughout the Brazos Valley.Powered by the Community Foundation, Brazos Valley Gives will provide citizens and businesses an easy platform to support the mission and “good works” of local nonprofit organizations that serve the Brazos Valley.
This community day of giving will strengthen nonprofits, empower donors and build community. The goal for Brazos Valley Gives is $500,000 with 60 nonprofit organizations participants. This first-year pilot will focus on Bryan/College Station nonprofits because that will be the primary media/marketing focus for this initial year. However, nonprofits from throughout the Brazos Valley are invited to participate.Brazos Valley Gives will empower individual donors and business leaders to come together to support causes close to their hearts – and where everyone can be a philanthropist!
This day of “giving where you live” is being “powered by the Community Foundation,” and all donations will pass-thru directly to the donor’s charity(ies) of choice.
