The City of Navasota offers tour and itinerary planning services for groups of 16 or more for a minimal fee per person, which includes a step-on guide, lunch, and several places of interest. Guides not only maintain your timetable and direct your tour but provide a narrative on the area's colorful heritage.

PROSPERITY BANK
is a working bank in the oldest bank building in town. This certified historical restoration project is part of the National Register commercial District. Many original features remain including marble floors, wainscoting and columns. The period look is complete with turn of the century teller cages and offices. |

ST. PAUL'S EPISCOPAL CHURCH
was erected in 1891, this Gothic building is typical of churches built in Great Britain during the same time period. The building is composed mostly of stone with joist, beams and wainscoting from the original church building at Washington, Texas. Since 1891, a number of renovations and improvements have been made, but care has been taken not to disturb the original appearance and beauty of the building.

FIRST PRESBYTERIAN CHURCH
is a classic example of turn of the century architecture. Built in 1894 and completely restored in 1986, this has been a favorite for tour groups. The church houses original pews, memorial and rose windows. A pipe organ was added in 1942 and has 1,746 pipes. |

THE HORLOCK HISTORY CENTER
is furnished authentically to preserve the life and times of a real Texas entrepreneur. In 1892, Colonel R.A. Horlock built a 2-1/2 storied cottage for his family. At a cost of $1,200.00, Colonel Horlock built a simple yet elegant home which still testifies of the quality and craftsmanship used in it's construction. |
